Phone Number Generator is a free, open developer utility built to solve a common problem in software development: the need for realistic-looking phone numbers that are guaranteed to be fictional and non-operational.

Whether you're building a contact form, running QA test suites, seeding a database with mock users, or preparing a client demo, you need phone numbers that pass validation without risk of accidentally contacting a real person or triggering a telecom system.

What We Do

Our tool generates structurally valid phone numbers using officially designated fictional ranges wherever available. For example:

  • United States & Canada: The NANP 555-0100 to 555-0199 range, officially reserved for fictional use by NANPA.
  • United Kingdom: Ofcom Drama Numbers such as 020 7946 0xxx, designated for use in TV, film, and software.
  • Australia: ACMA fictitious range 0491 570 006 to 0491 570 999.
  • Other countries: Clearly non-operational placeholder patterns that follow each country's formatting conventions.

How It Works

Everything runs 100% in your browser. When you click "Generate Numbers," JavaScript algorithms create the phone numbers locally — no data is sent to any server. We don't collect, store, or log any generated numbers, IP addresses, or personal information.

  • Collect or sell user data
  • Require account registration or payment
